“I have been called according to the perfect will of GOD. The spirit of the LORD GOD is upon me. Because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings tothe poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prisons to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
GodsMan’s music ministers to the soul, saved and unsaved. He deals with real life issues and his own personal testimonies (which are many). His music is for all ages and has songs that anyone can relate to, of all ethnic backgrounds and genders.
Tim Robinson was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky. He grew up with two sisters, a GOD-FEARING mother that loved GOD incredibly and a father that loved alcohol, so he was no stranger to domestic violence. At around the age of 10 his mother packed up and left his father. He and his sisters went to live with there grandparents in the violent, gang, and drug infested streets of the West End (28th & Kentucky). He started hanging out with his uncles and the neighborhood gangsters, who were true, die hard hustlers. He began picking up on the rules and regulations of the game. And though his mother was always there for him he grew accustomed to the street life as a way of life. Because of his anger and childhood scars he began to carry out the ” I don’t care” attitude and wanting others to feel his pain. By freshman year Tim was selling weed and by the time he was a sophomore he was selling weed, and cocaine, jacking and packing guns. He played football all throughout middle and high school and even in college, were he only stayed one year before returning home to the streets were he quickly fell back into his role as a “Ghetto Celebrity”. Tim started trafficking drugs heavy even tooting powder, pulling drive-bys, and that’s not the half. By the age of 24 he landed himself in the penitentiary were he had a lot of time to reflect on his life and were it was headed, and how he had let his family down. By the time he was released he had a plan together, to take care of his wife and children, go back to college, and become a productive father and citizen. But it didn’t happen that way. Once again he hustled and the more he hustled, the more he tore his home apart. He didn’t like what he was doing. And this time he sincerely wanted to change. One night Tim attended a bible study over a friends house, they were having guest speakers A Prophetess and an Apostle (now hispastor, mentor, and spiritual guide). But at that time he didn’t know what thatmeant. The Prophetess and Apostle came to Tim and told him things about himself that he had only talked to GOD about. She told him GOD has a plan for even HIS life regardless of all the things he’d done. At that moment he starting thanking GOD and felt his unexplainable “tingling feeling inside” and he knew God was real. Ever since that experience Tim has been seeking and walking after GOD. His life hasn’t been the same. He’s been married to his beautiful, GOD sent wife, Kimberly “Lady Dove” Robinson, for 8 wonderful years, GOD has blessed them with 5 beautiful children, Quincy, Markice, Christian, Blessing andTim Jr. He has completed college earning his Electronic Engineering Degree, and he’s also the Assistant Pastor of Seven Thunders Word of Life. With all that said it’s to say this: “If GOD can do it for me, he can most definitely do it for you. I don’t care what you have done, or who you are. He’s the only one who can help you. So, I encourage you, NO I DARE YOU!!! To sincerely try JESUS for yourself.” Jeremiah 29:11-14 -GODSMAN Check out my website Godsman Music.com
